We are excited to announce the opening of Merlin Law Group’s newest office in Atlanta, Georgia. This reinforces our commitment to serving policyholders throughout the Southeastern United States. Leading this expansion is Brian Braddy, a dynamic attorney with deep ties to Georgia and a career dedicated to advocacy, leadership, and results.
Brian Braddy, a native of Miami, Florida, now calls Atlanta home. His journey through the legal, business, and civic sectors has been anything but ordinary. A graduate of Ransom Everglades School and a proud Florida State University alumnus (B.S. in Finance and J.D. from FSU College of Law), Brian has honed his skills across multiple arenas from corporate boardrooms to city government and the courtroom.
His resume includes serving as in-house counsel for Fortune 500 companies, acting as a certified contract advisor for professional NFL and NBA athletes, and holding a directorial role in the Atlanta Mayor’s Office. Most recently, he was the managing partner at a multinational property damage insurance firm, where he spearheaded the expansion of operations in Georgia.
Now, Brian brings that same entrepreneurial energy and strategic focus to Merlin Law Group, where he’ll be handling first-party property and casualty litigation for both residential homeowners and commercial property owners throughout Georgia and Florida.
I asked Brian why he joined Merlin Law Group. He told me:
I joined Merlin Law Group because of the firm’s reputation in leading the charge in helping clients recover for their losses after disaster. Merlin is at the forefront in terms of scholarship, ethics, client service, and helping attorneys reach their full potential—not only in the courtroom but in their community as well. I am honored and excited about the opportunity to help Georgia residents fight insurance companies and stand up for what is right.
He has a deep passion and sense of mission that seems precisely aligned with our firm values. As someone who believes in justice, community service, and the strength of families, Brian aligns with everything our firm represents. His wife Cristina and their two daughters, Layla and Gabriella, are also part of the Merlin family now, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Credentials and Community
Brian is licensed in Florida and Georgia and admitted to the Northern, Middle, and Southern District Federal Courts of Georgia. He is a Teach For America Fellow, a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Gate City Bar Association, and honors societies including the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Eta Sigma. He also participated in Mock Trial during his legal education—early proof of his comfort in the courtroom.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys attending sporting events, discovering new restaurants, and most of all spending time with his family. We got to meet the Braddy family with a trip on the Chip’s Ahoy! It was a fun day getting to learn about them and watching the children of other Merlin lawyers mingle with one another.
Serving Georgia with Integrity and Excellence
Our firm has long sought the right person to anchor our presence in Georgia. I feel that with Brian, we’ve found not just a skilled litigator but a leader who understands the heart of our mission and will be the voice of policyholders and a powerful force against insurance company delay and denial tactics.
Please join us in welcoming Brian to the Merlin Law Group family. If you’re in Georgia and need help with a property damage insurance claim, Brian is ready to fight for you.
